The music world is in mourning this week after rapper Bobby Ramirez, of A Lighter Shade Of Brown fame, passed away Monday afternoon. He was 46 years-old.
Daily Mail reported that Ramirez, who was best known by his stage name DTTX, was found unconscious on a sweltering Las Vegas street almost two weeks ago and had been hospitalized in a coma for the last 11 days.
“It is with great sadness to inform you that our brother Bobby DTTX Ramirez has passed away,” Lighter Shade of Brown wrote on their Facebook page. “Bobby’s final breath was taken on Monday July 18th 2016 at 2:20pm. On behalf of the Ramirez family, they would like to thank friends and the fans for ALL of your prayers during this difficult time.”
Ramirez’s family believe he died of severe heat stroke and cardiac arrest. They have called for fans to send funds to help pay for his funeral expenses.
